Very exciting role as Director of Sales for a growing and financially stable Medical Device contract manufacturing company; depending upon your experience this role could be titled VP of Sales. In either event the successful candidate will be an individual contributor; as the company continues to grow all other sales personnel will report to you; you will report to the EVP of Sales.
This opportunity offers you the opportunity to be responsible for the direction and management of sales efforts including market understanding competitiveness with assigned accounts and territories; you will help drive the company's achievement of its customer acquisition, revenue and gross margin goals and ensuring customer programs are profitable.
As stated above this client is presently well established smaller company that is in a strong growth mode thus the reason that you would be such a strong influence on the direction of the marketing, sales,profit, and sales management.
My client is particularly strong in the area of Diabetes control, drug delivery , medical device, wound care products, etc. They offer the engineering assistance to work with device OEM's to develop, improve and manufacture the device products.
Residence anywhere on the East is good, so no relocation is needed for this role.
Successful candidates can come out of the EMS industry having sold into the medical device market and / or directly from the medical device OEM sector.
Company location is in the NE.
